Custom House Portraits
Your home is more than a building. It’s the backdrop of your life—the place where people gather, grow up, grow old, and come back to. I offer made-to-order illustrations that honor that meaning and preserve it in a form you can share, frame, and keep forever.
I work from photos. Many clients send a few favorite shots, but I can also work from Google Street View if needed. Want something specific included—like the tree you planted the year your daughter was born, or the porch swing where your grandfather always sat? Just let me know. Every detail matters. Every story counts.

Materials Matter
Every drawing is done by hand using professional-grade Sakura Micron pens on thick, acid-free archival paper. The materials I use are chosen to last—resisting yellowing, fading, and time itself. Each finished piece is matted and framed to 11×14″ using a classic black frame that suits just about any space.
Pricing
Original illustrations typically range from $225–$500 depending on detail and requests. To get a specific quote, just send me a photo or two and what you have in mind. I’ll get back to you quickly.
Prints of completed drawings are available at a reduced cost if you’d like extra copies for family or friends.

How long does it take?
Most drawings are finished within 2–3 weeks. If you need it faster—for a birthday, anniversary, or holiday like Christmas or Mother’s Day—let me know. I can often accommodate rush timelines.
How do I get started?
Email me a clear photo (or a few). If there’s a particular angle or detail that matters to you, let me know. I’ll confirm pricing and timing before getting started.
Can you draw things other than houses?
Yep. I’ve drawn vintage cars, classic campers, family cabins, barns, and the occasional beloved pet. Almost anything goes. That said, I do not draw babies. Your baby won’t like it. You won’t like it. Let’s just not.

What’s the payment process?
I ask for a 25% deposit to start. You can pay via Venmo (@jared-crooks-4), cash, or check. The remainder is due at pickup or before shipping. If something comes up, we’ll work it out—I’m flexible within reason.
Can I request changes?
Yes. If there’s something specific you’d like added or emphasized—a certain window, tree, flower box, whatever—just tell me upfront. This is your piece, and I want you to love it.
Do you ship?
Yes. Shipping is available for an additional $12 within the U.S.
